Upasana Dasgupta
Ms. Upasana is currently a Research Assistant at Institute of Air & Space Law, McGill University, Montreal, Canada where she has researched and drafted chapters harmful interference and non- appropriation principle in outer space for the Manual on International Law Applicable to Military Uses of Outer Space Project and edited chapter on Global Space Governance Study. She is working on the indicator Space cooperation for Space Security Index. She has authored several papers and articles on space law issues. She was awarded Erin J.C. Arsenault Fellowship, Graduate Excellence Award in Law and Nicolas Matte Prize for highest marks in Space Law: General Principles while pursuing Masters in Air and Space Law from McGill University.
Bayar Goswami
Bayar Goswami is an Arsenault Doctoral Fellow at the Institute of Air and Space Law, McGill University. Prior to advancing his research career as a doctoral fellow, Bayar finished his LL.M. in Air and Space Law at the IASL and his first law degree at Nirma University, India. Among various other honours and awards, Bayar is a recipient of Erin J.C. Arsenault Fellowship for both his Doctorate and Masters research and notably was also awarded the Assad Kotaite Graduate and Postdoctoral Fellowship by the United Nations’ International Civil Aviation Organization. Presently, as the Principal Researcher and Associate Editor, Bayar is leading the project to curate the McGill Encyclopaedia of International Space Law at SpaceLawPedia.com and also, is playing a key role, as the Research Coordinator, in the research and publication of the McGill Manual on International Law Applicable to Military Uses of Outer Space (the MILAMOS Project). Bayar has made notable publication and presentations at numerous international forums including the UN COPUOS and the UN/Germany High-Level Forum. Bayar has been a TEDx Speaker and is continuously working for the development and promotion of space law and is passionate about fuelling discussions about the social sciences of outer space.
Chinmoy Roy
Mr. Chinmoy graduated in law from National University of Study and Research in Law, Ranchi in 2015. He has a unique combination of having exposure and expertise on both international law and commercial laws. He is currently engaged as legal officer at Antrix Corporation Limited, the commercial arm of Indian Space Research Organisation. In addition to his professional engagements, he has been an active participant at the International Aeronautical Congress and other International Conferences in Space Law.
