SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

The Space Policy Digest welcomes article submissions from students, academicians and professionals on the subject of International Space Law.

Specific guidelines

  • The articles for the blog should be in English.

  • The word limit for the article is 800-1500 words.

  • Co-authorship is allowed up to two authors.

  • Formatting of the article must be uniform and should be typed in Times New Roman, font size 12, and line spacing at 1.5.

  • Author/s must duly acknowledge relevant sources by providing relevant hyperlinks in the main text itself.

  • The headings and sub-headings should be indentified sufficiently for the sake of brevity and clarity.

  • All submissions must be in Microsoft Word format (.doc/.docx)

General Guidelines

  • As a matter of policy, we accept submissions of descriptive, critical and analytical nature pertaining to converging aspects of Outer Space Law and Public International Law. The submissions may also include an evaluation of the domestic legal framework of different nations and developments concerning outer space operations.    

  • The article should be an original work of the author/s with no plagiarised content. It should not be under consideration for publication in any other blog, journal or publishing platform.

  • Once the article is accepted for the publication, the copyright over the article shall be vested automatically with the Blog.

  • Reposting of an article is allowed, provided that the author(s) acknowledge the publication of the same on Space Policy Digest by stating: (first posted on Space Policy Digest on dd/mm/yyyy).

  • As a general practice, the editors reserve the right to edit, change, shorten or add content to the article submitted.

  • Post the selection of manuscript the author/s will receive a confirmation email regarding the same and the manuscript shall be posted under the author's name at Space Policy Digest.

  • Any revision/material change/revocation of the manuscript is not permissible subsequent to the confirmation email about the publication of the author's manuscript.

  • In case of any dispute, the decision of the Editorial Board and Director will be final and binding.

How to submit

  • The manuscript must be submitted via email to spacepolicydigest@gmail.com

  • The author(s) must mention their name and academic/professional affiliation below the ‘title of article’ in the manuscript itself.

  • An acknowledgment shall be sent to the author/s via e-mail upon the receipt of the article by the Editorial Board. The acceptance and rejection of the article shall be communicated to the author(s) through email.

  • The authors should duly fill the details in the form provided with the acknowledgement email.
